SUBLUXATIONS

WHAT IS A SUBLUXATION? WHY DO CHIROPRACTORS TALK ABOUT THIS?

A subluxation is a term used to describe spinal/nerve dysfunction. It is important to understand that the spinal cord is attached to the spinal column very much like a guitar string and like a guitar string needs to be tuned from time to time. The tone of this spinal cord sets the tone for every cell, tissue and organ in the body. The fact is that the brain and spinal cord make up the most important part of your nervous system as they act as your main controller unit by sending information to and from every subsystem in your body. The spinal cord is the information super highway to your brain where messages can be interpreted and sent out to the body.

WHAT CAUSES A SUBLUXATION?

Physical, emotional and chemical stressors can cause nerve dysfunction. This is why we speak about adaptation and the ability of the body to have resilience and the ability to recover. We are working with each individuals personal needs as what stresses one person out may not stress another.

A subluxation is the area of your nervous system that is not communicating to its optimum ability. Through specific and light force adjustments we free up the communication in your body which normalizes your nervous system, and allows your body the opportunity to function at its optimum.
