I read in a magazine some helpful tips on storing food in the refrigerator or freezer.  Below are some food items and their length of time per refrigerator or freezer.

A few tips:

1. Keep the fridge temperature lower than 4C as bacteria grows between 4C and 60C.

2. Date your leftovers so you can keep track of how long they have been stored.

3.  Avoid exposure to air by storing food in food-safe glass or silicone containers. You can also wrap food tightly in beeswax wrapper.
